Administration: defined by the Sticky-Marketing.com monthly magazine

A company is said to be under administration when it has gone bankrupt, in UK terminology when the receiver has been called in, in US terminology under chapter 11, this is a state where the management of the company has failed, administrators have been called in to salvage what they can and suppliers to the company will in general have greater difficulty getting paid for outstanding invoices.
