Advertising Agencies are independent organisastions which run advertising, or communications campaigns for their clients businesses in any number of media perhaps including Television, various paper publications, billboards, the Radio or Internet. An often used pricing method for agencies is that they are paid a percentage of advertising billings, this is sometimes thought to produce a conflict of interests where media buying is conducted by the agency because there will be reduced interest in pushing advertising prices down which would directly affect the commission received by the agency. Thus other pricing methods may be agreed between client and agency. See also advertising, agency commission 14/08/2001 Use your browser back button or |
