A Benefit is at the root of all human purchasing activity, all human purchasing is based on the benefit that a product or service can offer. When evaluating two or more competing offerings consumers may be looking at slightly different features in each of them but they are in practice deciding what benefit each feature may offer them specifically. People buy benefits.
