A Contract is a written or spoken agreement between two or more parties to which they agree and to which they are to be held for the duration of the contract. Contracts do not have to be written in order for them to be legally enforceable, consumers buying from retail outlets often have a contract with the retailer that include terms laid down by the government in consumer protection legislation.
