Corporate identity relates to the identifying marks of a company or corporation, there is a mini industry (perhaps not so mini in fact) providing support services to corporate clients who want to manage their identity. Firms work on logos, and brand names and work to ensure consistent identity across all areas of an enterprise including all written correspondence, product markings, brochures, adverts, websites, uniforms, vehicles etc. Corporate id work can include visual and audio symbols, colours and straplines. Closely related to brand & branding.
