Differentiation is doing something different, differentiation in marketing speak usually means that a company has adopted a strategy of avoiding direct like for like
competition with its enemies and instead is trying to provide a different offering which they hope will better satisfy the needs of their particular customers. Using such a strategy may help to
reduce the need to compete mainly on price.
