Empathy: defined by the Sticky-Marketing.com monthly magazine

Empathy or to empathise is the ability to see another persons point of view perhaps to have sympathy with another’s point of view. An important ability in customer facing staff and sales staff, the ability to empathise with your customers situation, their needs and wants, perhaps the limitations they find themselves in can be important to build a rapport between sales person and customer and avoid conflict.
