Exhibition Contractor: defined by the Sticky-Marketing.com monthly magazine

An Exhibition Contractor is an organisation contracted to provide the physical requirements for a company to exhibit their wares at a Trade show.

Typically this can include design and build of an exhibition stand including structure, graphic panels, display cabinets or other mechanisms, custom displays of product or audio visual pieces, transport of said exhibition materials to the exhibition and their construction before the opening of the show.

After the show the contractor will dismantle the stand and remove all items from the exhibition hall. The contractor will usually be responsible for compliance with all safety requirements, employment of specialist staff at the exhibition hall to arrange electricity, water and or other services and provision of furniture if that is to be rented on site rather than transported to and from trade shows.

Companies exhibiting regularly will plan their stand construction for multiple use and may choose a modular approach to enable components to fit various stand spaces and layouts at various exhibitions.
